The SOM Speech Choir and Ignite Contest

Last December 22, 2015, the SOM  Speech Choir and Ignite Contest was held at Asia Pacific College, Auditorium. This competition is for all the SOM students which they would have compete with the Speech Choir, which is we would to prepare a presentation, and that is the interpretation of the piece entitled "At Christmas" by Edgar Albert Guest. For the Ignite competition one student for each block of SOM students would have to compete, each of them are required to prepare their speech presentation with the power point slides in any topic.

And I am so proud to say the we Block MA 151 SOM students win the 1st placer of the Speech Choir competition. I actually didn't expect that we will get this one of the trophies as we don't have that much practice on this presentation, because most of us of this block are irregular students so definitely we had different schedules of time. But I'm so glad and feeling so great winning the competition, Congratulations to me and to block mates of MA151. We did a great job guys!...

And lastly, I would like to congratulate all the champions of this very great competition. All SOM students did very well for this term. Congratulations to TM 151 being the champion of Speech Choir Contest. And to my block mates from BM151 Benjamin Baet, Congratulations, he is the grand champion winner of Ignite Speech Competition, you really did a great job, very well speech and I salute him for that. And for the Public Speaking Contest grand winner congratulations, I actually forgot her name but she did a great job as well. For all the SOM students congratulations, we are done of our English term, hope you all guys did great till the upcoming terms, good luck to all of you, and thank you for all our professors of this term, you are all the best teachers for me. :)

SOM Inter-class Public Speaking Contest

Last December 21, 2015, the SOM inter-class Public Speaking was held at Asia Pacific College, Auditorium. this is where the SOM students will have to compete with their speeches. The students who are joining the competition, each of them are required to prepare their speech, and theme of the speech is "The cult of celebrities and fantasies... a Filipino obsession?".

And all the SOM students are there in auditorium also all the English professors were there..

Moreover before the competition of Public Speaking began we have some fun first, not only fun but also helpful and knowledgeable for all the students. We have some game which is the Speed Speech, one student of each block of SOM students are required to join the game. This game is really funny, which is the mechanic of the game is you have to connect all the words that given to you, and students who are joined to this game are awesome, they just somehow connecting all the words that is given to them which is so funny when you hear, some of them are speechless but somehow they can manage to end their speeches. That was really fun and enjoying time while waiting for the Public Speaking students joining the contest.

Furthermore I wanted to congratulate each students that are joining the competition for delivering their speeches. I could say that all their speeches was good, each of them really had a good content of their speech, very well presentation. I admire them because they are really confident to stand in front of many people to deliver their speeches, I wish I could be someone like them someday in future.
